Lemon balm contains rosemarinic acid, a chemical compound with significant antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial properties. Studies have found it can speed up the healing process of cold sores and reduce the severity of symptoms when applied topically.  This is why we love including it in our lip products.
 
Guava leaves have antimicrobial action due to active ingredients like isoflavonoids, gallic acid, ascorbic acid, carotenoids which help fight skin infections and inflammations. Antioxidants repair skin damage.
